MindXP's Home screen: Today's Workout, fifteen minutes in three blocks — Logic as the warm-up, Reading as the main set and Language as the finisher — with a Start Workout button, a Level 9 progress bar and a Mental Fitness index of 1415.

Eight areas. One mental gym.

Train the things your mind actually does.

Mental arithmetic you can hold in your head. Reading that repays attention. Words used precisely. Memory under load. Every area has its own subskills and its own rating, so being strong at one never makes another harder than it should be.

Mathematics

Calculation, algebra and quantitative reasoning

Mental arithmetic you can hold in your head, then percentages, ratios, algebra and the word problems real life hands you. Every maths item is generated fresh, so there is no memorising your way through.

Five exercises. About a minute.

A real MindXP warm-up — the app’s own exercises, marked by the app’s own rules. Get one wrong and you’ll see why, the way you would in a workout.

  2. 2MemoryA sequence, shown once

Your warm-up

Five exercises, five areas, one minute.

Pick a room to train in

How it works

Three steps. Then it’s a habit.

MindXP works out where you are, gives you work that sits just past it, and moves the bar as you move — so day thirty is a different workout from day one.

  1. 01

    Explore

Discover engaging exercises across a wide variety of mental skills.

Start with a short assessment — about five minutes — that finds your level in each area. It adapts as you go, so it won't bury you. Then you have eight areas and more than fifty subskills to explore.

  2. 02

    Challenge yourself

Build a consistent training routine with interactive exercises designed to keep you engaged.

Today's Workout is built fresh each day from your ratings, recent sessions and the mistakes due for review: a warm-up on a strength, focused work where it counts, and a finisher. Choose 5, 15, 30 or 45 minutes.

  3. 03

    Track your journey

See your activity, accomplishments, and progress over time.

Every answer earns XP. XP builds levels, and levels build ranks — from Rookie to Icon. Ratings, milestones, personal records and your full history show what has actually improved.

Inside MindXP

Built like a gym, not a quiz app.

Everything in MindXP is there to help you train well and see what changed — the same app on the web, iPhone and iPad, with one account across all three.

MindXP's Home screen: Today's Workout, fifteen minutes in three blocks — Logic as the warm-up, Reading as the main set and Language as the finisher — above a Level 9 progress bar and a Mental Fitness index of 1415.

01Today's Workout

A new workout, every day

Built from your skills, your mistakes and what's due. Every session has a shape — a warm-up on a strength, focused work where it counts, and a finisher.

  • Some days bring a twist: a personal-best attempt, a speed round, a mastery check
  • Back after a break? The first workout eases you in, with no fuss about the days away
A MindXP exercise answered correctly: a letter-sequence question with the right option marked green, a 'Nailed it!' banner, and an explanation of the rule.

02In the session

Difficulty that moves with you

Every exercise is set at your level, from 1 to 100, and every answer moves your rating — per subskill, so being strong at arithmetic never makes your vocabulary harder than it should be.

  • An explanation after every answer, right or wrong
  • Hints that teach the method, not the answer
The Your Journey screen: the fox beside a Level 9 Regular card, what's up next, and the ranks from Rookie through Titan.

03Your Journey

Level up as you train

Every answer earns XP. Levels build ranks, from Rookie to Icon, and milestones mark what you've done — workouts, training days, runs and items mastered.

  • Skill bands show how far each area has come
  • Harder material unlocks as they rise
The Mental Profile: a constellation of the eight training areas around a Mental Fitness index of 1415, with the index explained underneath.

04Mental Profile

Know your strengths

A map of all eight areas — what's strong, what's improving and what you've left alone. The Mental Fitness Index summarises your performance inside MindXP. It isn't an IQ score, and it doesn't pretend to be.

  • Ratings for every area and subskill
  • MindXP tells you when you're measurably better than two weeks ago
The Mistake Bank: questions answered wrongly, filtered by area, with a Train my weaknesses button.

05Mistake Bank

Every mistake becomes practice

Every question you miss is kept with its explanation, and comes back until it sticks. Or drill the lot in one session.

  • Filter by area
  • One tap to train your weaknesses
The Mental Coach: insights about the user's own training, such as Reading being their strongest area and Memory being furthest behind, with buttons to train each.

06Mental Coach

Know what to do next

Insights computed from your own attempts: what's slipping, what's ready to push, and what to train today — each with a button that starts the right session.

  • Read from your results, not guessed
  • Plain answers to “What should I train today?”

More ways to train

  • Free Train

Pick the exact exercise, set the difficulty by hand from 1 to 100, and choose how long you train.

  • Max Out

Climb the difficulty ladder until you miss, and see exactly where your ceiling is today.

  • Programs

Structured plans: multi-week programs for mental maths, vocabulary and logic, and an ongoing one for general mental fitness.

  • My Workouts

Save your own routines, with the areas and lengths you like, and start them in one tap.

  • Compete

Head-to-head matches, parties of up to six, leagues and a daily challenge — or race your own best.

  • Your own room

Thirteen painted scenes with quiet ambient motion, or a colour, a gradient or your own photo.

Honest by design

Measured honestly. Kept private.

A mental gym only works if you can trust what it tells you — about your progress, and about what happens to your data.

  • No IQ claims

We won't tell you MindXP raises your IQ or turns back a brain age. It's a good workout, measured honestly: your ratings describe what you can do in MindXP, and nothing more.

  • No ads, no third-party trackers

MindXP measures how the app itself is used, in its own database, to make it better. There's no advertising, no tracking SDK, and nothing is sold.

  • Private by default

Other players never see your training history, ratings or mistakes. In Compete they see the display name you choose, your league and your scores.

  • One account, everywhere

Train on the web, on iPhone or on iPad. Your progress follows your account, so you can pick up where you left off.

  • Works offline

On iPhone and iPad, training works without a connection. On the web, MindXP keeps working offline after your first visit.

  • Yours to delete

Delete your account and everything in it from inside the app — a server function does it, not a request form.

Questions

Good to know.

Anything else? The support page has more, and a way to reach a person.

Is there a free version?

MindXP is one subscription with everything included. Your first three days are free, and the warm-up on this page is free for anyone — no account needed.

What happens when the free trial ends?

If you keep going, your plan starts: US$14.99 a month or US$171.99 a year when you subscribe on the web. Cancel any time before the three days are up and you won't be charged anything.

Will MindXP make me smarter?

MindXP is training, not a test, and it makes no IQ or health claims. What it does promise is honest measurement: your ratings and the Mental Fitness Index describe how you perform in MindXP, so you can see what's actually improving.

I'm not a maths person. Is this for me?

Yes. The assessment finds your level in each area and MindXP sets the work just past it. Miss a few and it eases off; there's an explanation after every answer.

How long does a workout take?

You choose: Quick (5 minutes), Standard (15), Full (30) or Intense (45). Free Train lets you set any length you like.

Which devices can I use?

MindXP runs in your browser at getmindxp.com, and on iPhone and iPad (iOS 18 or later) from the App Store. One account works everywhere.

Which languages can I learn?

Spanish, French and Mandarin Chinese (simplified characters). Courses cover vocabulary, grammar, translation, comprehension and listening, plus characters, pinyin and tones for Mandarin.

What happens to my data?

No ads, no third-party trackers, and nothing is sold. Other players never see your training history. You can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app. The Privacy Policy has the details.

Your next workout is waiting.
